Renovating your Spanish home while you live abroad

Video survey, free estimate, one project manager in English and weekly photo and video updates: a renovation you can run from home.
Free initial estimate. Licences handled. One project manager. Weekly photo reports.
At a glance
- You can renovate a home in Spain without being there: the survey, choices, progress checks and handover all work by video, photos and written approvals.
- One project manager runs the job in English, deals with the town hall and the community of owners, and is your single contact.
- Every week you get photos and video of what was done and what comes next, including the pipes, cables and waterproofing before they are covered.
- Nothing is ordered or changed without your written agreement, and payments are staged against milestones in the contract.
- In the Costa Blanca towns we cover, between 29% and 62% of residents are foreign nationals, so working with owners who live elsewhere is normal, not a special case.

How it works
- Video survey. You walk us round the property on a video call, or send photos and a short video.
- Free estimate. We send you a free estimate in English based on what we have seen.
- Site visit and quote. We visit the property and give you a fixed-price quote after a site visit.
- Licence. We confirm the licence route with the town hall and our partner architect files it before work starts.
- Works, with weekly updates. Your project manager sends photo and video updates every week.
- Handover. We sign off the finished home with you, on site or by video, and hand back the keys.
One person to talk to
You deal with one project manager who speaks English, from the first call to the handover. They coordinate the trades, the town hall and, in an apartment block, the community of owners.
Paying as the work progresses
Payments are staged and tied to milestones agreed in your contract. The contract is in Spanish with a translation in your language, and our invoices include IVA. More on how we work.

What to send us before the site visit
- A video walk-through, or a time that suits you for a video call across your time zone
- Who holds keys now, and how we can collect them
- The escritura or nota simple, so we know exactly what we are working on
- How you prefer to be updated: email, WhatsApp, or both
- Your dates in Spain, if you want to see the work in person at any stage
Questions owners ask
How often will I hear from you?
Every week during the works, with photos and video of what was done and what comes next, and whenever a decision is needed from you.
How do I choose materials and finishes from abroad?
By video call, from photos and samples we show you, or with an interior designer we work with. We agree each choice in writing before we order.
What happens with the keys?
We agree how keys are handed over and held at the start. During the works, every visit is logged. At the end you get the keys back, or we keep them under our key holding service.
Do I need to come to Spain at all?
Not for the works themselves. You may need to be present, or represented, for some legal steps that have nothing to do with the building work, such as buying the property. We handle the building side.
