Handyman and small repairs

Dripping taps, sticking doors, broken shutters and odd jobs, done while you are away or before you arrive.
Free initial estimate. Licences handled. One project manager. Weekly photo reports.
At a glance
- Small jobs pile up in a house that stands empty: dripping taps, sticking doors and shutters, loose tiles, tired silicone, broken fittings.
- We fix them while you are away or before you arrive, and send you photos of each job done.
- Combining them with a property care visit avoids paying for a separate trip.
- New electrical circuits are not handyman work: they are done by an authorised installer, who certifies them.

Small jobs with a clear list
Dripping taps, sticking doors, damaged shutters and broken fittings can accumulate between visits to a holiday home. Our small-repair service deals with these practical jobs and sends photographs of the result. A written list helps you decide which items to address now and which belong in a larger renovation later.
- Taps and minor fittings that need attention.
- Doors and shutters that are sticking or damaged.
- Loose tiles, tired silicone and similar small repairs.
- Photographs of the completed work for an owner who is away.
Describe the fault, not just the room
“Bathroom repair” might mean a dripping tap, a loose fitting or water escaping behind a finish. Identify the symptom and its location. A photograph showing the whole fitting and one showing the damaged detail can be more useful than an unexplained close-up. If a part has a manufacturer or model label, keep that information with the enquiry rather than assuming all replacements are interchangeable.
Group the jobs by room or area and mark the ones that prevent normal use. That list is a starting point for inspection and pricing. It is not a promise that every task can be completed in one visit or that a particular replacement is available. The agreed scope should identify the work to proceed with.
When a small symptom needs a wider repair
A loose tile or recurring stain can be a sign of a problem behind the surface. If inspection points to a leak, the damp and leak service addresses the cause before the finish. If several fittings are to be changed as part of a new layout, a kitchen or bathroom renovation may be the clearer way to define the project.
The everyday label “small job” does not itself settle planning or community requirements. Work affecting an external appearance, common element or building structure needs to be considered on its actual scope. The legal checks below are relevant even when the list began with a modest repair request.
How it works while you are abroad
Send the list, property location and access arrangements. After a visit we can provide a list with photographs and prices, and you choose what to do. The completed work is photographed so you can follow the result without attending the property. Keep any items deferred from the list separate from the authorised work.
Small jobs are often combined with a maintenance visit or pre-arrival check. Tell us when you next plan to occupy the house so the proposed arrangement can be considered alongside preparation for that stay. The visit schedule, work list and price remain matters to agree for your property.
Permission and community checks
Where the agreed work involves building alterations, the route depends on its scope. TRLOTUP articles 232, 233 and 241 distinguish licence and responsible-declaration procedures and their conditions. A service name is not a permission category. In a community of owners, LPH article 7 limits alterations affecting the building or other owners and requires prior notice to the community representative for works within the provision. Check shared elements before authorising the work.
How we price the work
Start with a free estimate, then a fixed-price quote after a site visit. The scope, access and findings inform the quote. Review what is included and what needs a separate decision before accepting it. There are no standard rates on this page: the price follows the property and the agreed work, rather than a figure detached from the inspection.
Good to know
Rules and facts that apply
- Electrical work
- Electrical installations, including modifications and extensions of existing ones, may be carried out only by installer companies, which register new and modified installations with the regional authority. (REBT art. 18 and ITC-BT-04; Generalitat Valenciana)
What to send us before the site visit
- The list of jobs, with a photo of each
- Any spare parts or fittings you already have in the house
- When you will next be there, if you want it done before
Questions owners ask
Do you take on very small jobs?
Yes. Small jobs are often combined with a property care visit so you do not pay for a separate trip.
Can you send me a list of what needs doing?
Yes. After a visit we can send you a list with photos and prices, and you choose what to do.
Does a small job automatically avoid permission checks?
No. The actual work matters, particularly if it affects structure, external appearance or common parts. We consider the scope rather than treating the name of the service as permission.
